SANFORD GARNER MEMORIAL SERVICE
The Rev. Sanford Garner, former rector of Christ Church, Georgetown and
Provost of Washington National Cathedral, died on Sept. 30. He was 82. A
special service in remembrance and celebration of his life and ministry
is set for 4 p.m. Oct. 14 at WASHINGTON NATIONAL CATHEDRAL. Clergy are
invited to process (cassock, surplice and white stole).
