[edow] Changes in Dates of Regional Assemblies

CHANGES IN DATES OF REGIONAL ASSEMBLIES

Nathan Baxter, retired dean of Washington National Cathedral, was
recently elected Bishop of Central Pennsylvania.  Bishop Chane has known
bishop-elect Baxter for a long time, going back to the days when they
were both deans.  As bishop of a neighbouring diocese in our province,
Bishop Chane both wants and needs to go the consecration, which will be
on October 21.  

This means that three of the diocesan Regional Assemblies are being
re-scheduled. 

The new schedule is:

Region 1 - is still on Saturday October 28 in the morning at St.
Matthew's, Hyattsville 
Region 2 - has been changed to Saturday October 28 in the afternoon 
Region 3 - has been changed to Saturday October 28 in the afternoon 
Region 4 - has been changed to Monday October 23 in the evening 
Region 5 - is still on Saturday October 28 in the morning at St.
Matthew's, Hyattsville 
Region 6 - is still on Saturday October 14 in the morning at Christ
Church, La Plata

Locations for Regions 2 & 3 and for Region 4 will be announced when
sites have been confirmed.
